1. The pre-AGM Melbourne package (October 20 - 24)
Delegates should arrive in Melbourne on or before Saturday 20th October.
The organising committee strongly recommends that before booking flights to Australia participants look into the possibility of a stopover in Singapore or Japan or fly into Cairns (The Great Barrier Reef) or Sydney or Perth for a few days before arriving in Melbourne in order to recover from the jet lag before the programme begins.
Kaye will organise an easy/informal day on Sunday 21st at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne and then bus trips on the Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd.
This will be called the pre-AGM package and will include 4 nights from Saturday 20th.
2. The AGM Adelaide package (October 24 - 28)
The Melbourne delegates will be flown to Adelaide mid morning on Wednesday 24th arriving at lunch time (a group booking will be organised to keep this costdown and collect from the airport and deliver to hotels). The Welcome drinks will be Wednesday evening (perhaps after a BH meeting). There will be garden visits, lectures and the discussion groups and General Assembly meeting on the Thursday to Sunday with the final dinner on the Sunday evening. This will be the actual AGM package which will include the accommodation from Wednesday to Sunday.
3. The post-AGM optional days (October 29 - 30, plus October 31 - November 1)
The Optional day trips on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th and then a two day trip to Kangaroo Island on the Wednesday 31st and Thursday 1st November.
